Noticeboard

Organ Donor

The law around organ donation in England has changed.

All adults in England are now considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.

If you do not want to donate your organs then you should register your decision to refuse to donate. Remember to speak to your family and loved ones about your decision. https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/register-your-decision/refuse-to-donate/

Repeat Prescriptions

green_pillsIf you are on regular medication and your Doctor feels that your medicines can be repeated without seeing you each time, you will be given a computer repeat prescription slip.

  • Either hand in or post your prescription request to the surgery, ticking the items you require, allowing 48 working hours for your medication to be ready for collection at the surgery or the chemist of your choice.
  • Should you wish to collect from a chemist, please make sure that you tick the appropriate box on the repeat slip.

You can also text us with your request 07903 592043 or email us D-CCG.discharge-haldonhouse@nhs.net

If you require any medication which is not on your computerised prescription, please add this clearly and this will be added to your medication, after verification from your doctor.

It is practice policy that PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS WILL NOT BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE as this blocks the telephone line for urgent calls and also increases the risk of errors being made.

If you have more than one repeat medicine, please ensure that you order all the items together.

PLEASE REMEMBER We require 48 hours notice for repeat prescriptions.
